The central feature is the deck level Vitality Pool with easy access, combining water and air massage for a relaxing experience at a temperature of 36-38°C.
The thermal rooms comprise a Salt Therapy Sauna at 80-95°C with a low humidity. Natural Himalayan salt blocks enhance the atmosphere within for excellent respiratory benefits. The hidden sauna heaters contain the secret of a good sauna; lots of sauna rocks for gentle radiant heat. Wide comfortable sauna benches are at two levels to enjoy the heat in comfort.
The Juniper Sauna provides a lower temperature of 75-90°C but with a medium level of humidity. There is an automatic infusion of water and herbal fragrance onto the sauna rocks to maintain the humidity.
The Aroma Steam Room is controlled at a precise temperature of 42-45°C with high humidity. Aroma laden steam and fresh air creates a gentle billowing steam within the room. The beautiful ceramic large format tiles are back heated for added comfort.
The thermal session should always begin with a warm shower, either a conventional shower or a special experience shower with colour change lighting and tropical aromas. Dry off prior to choosing the thermal feature of choice. Always sit on a towel in the saunas for comfort and hygiene and gently rinse with the kneipp hose in the steam after use.
After a comfortable period of time in the thermal, (start off with shorter periods of time while the body adapts to the environments), take a cool mist shower or cold drench and further cool with ice.
Relax on the heated bench rest or heated relaxation loungers. When ready, start another thermal cycle in a different room or spa.
Listen to your body. There is no set time for the experience, or for cooling or relaxing.

The spa and wellness facility at The Cove delivers the highest of standards for thermal experiences. The spacious area has nine different heat experiences including: a vitality pool, juniper sauna, salt therapy sauna and aroma steam. This is complimented by a cold therapy ice fountain, sensory shower, drench shower, heated bench rest and heated relaxation loungers.
